I was watching Pamela Meyer’s Ted Talk on Lie Spotting. She was analysing the Clinton Tape in which he infamously mentioned – “I did not have sexual relationship with that woman”.
Pamela says – “Well first we heard what's known as a non-contracted denial. Studies show that people who are overdetermined in their denial will resort to formal rather than informal language.”
I thought I’d go back and compare the recent Barry O'Farrell resignation, and compare his lie vs. Clinton’s lie. I created this short video showing the similarities !
